Hey Luke, was noticing that your brother has been playing the Infiltrators wrong. Concealed Positions is a “when set up in Deployment” timing. I’ve seen him use them as Deep Strikers twice now against Thousand Sons. Cheers!
Ok thanks for pointing that out. We filmed those 2 battles back to back so made the same mistake twice lol. Sorry about that...James is now using them correctly:)
No worries. 8th continually frustrates me with the same rule having a different name for every unit. It’s an easy mistake to make. For me, the Infiltrators are an odd unit to even WANT to deep strike with anyhow, since a part of their value comes from their anti-reinforcement bubble. One would want to have them on board for your opponent’s turn 2, so they can be effective zone-denial. Great series. I was actually impressed by how much damage the large units of Primaris were able to dish out. For my part, I think the Infiltrators are still overcosted at +5pts/model over Intercessors, given their worse guns. But it was great seeing James put them in action!
yes agreed..they do seem over priced! But as you say, good to see them in action:)
