Hey Luke! I know you did an eldar painting tutorial on your wraithblades which look amazing and I'm definitely going to try out, but I've been looking for guides on how to paint striking scorpions and none of them really look as good as yours. I experimented on on model and it feels lacking where yours are beautiful! All of your scorpions are painted already but are you planning on doing any more striking scorpion models? If so then a quick tutorial like the wraithblades would be fantastic! If not then a walkthrough of you just pointing to the details that you painted and telling us what paints you used for each step would be so amazing.
Cheers,
Max
Ok...so the exact some process for painting the Scorpions as I did the Wraithblades. Just change to colours and washes. But I sprayed the Scorpions white not grey. This will make your green and yellow brighter! Base green is Warpstone Glow, then wash with Biel Tan Green. Then flash gitz yellow for the ribbing, then mix flash gitz yellow with some white for an extreeme highlight. Hope this helps. If GW make new plastic Scorpions I could do a new tutorial for them!:)
Perfect! Thank you, I'll try this out on a model and see how it turns out
ok...hope it turns out well:)
