hi luke can you please go over how u water down your paints please. i use a wet pallet and still add a little water as per 2 thin coats duncan. but from what i can tell u dont water down. i only ask as ive followed ur red scorpion tutorial and u said only 1 coat of dawnstone is needed but i found i had to use 2 or 3 at times

I can only say what I observed and not answer for Luke but here it goes anyway.

In some videos he adds a bit of water to the mix in the actual pot. Generally, he uses thicker coats and waters down paints less then Duncan I think. Personally, as someone who uses a wet palette I try to minimize the amount of water I add to the paint. It takes more control but that way you can reduce the amount of coats neaded and many times get it down to one coat if the underlying coat is of a good color.
