Having watched most, if not all of the videos of 8th edition on this channel I'm starting to feel that land based transport vehicles are by far in a way better than airborne transport vehicles.
I would argue this point based on;
-- Points cost
-- Ability to stay out of the line of sight of opposing firepower
I understand most if not a land raider or equilivent don't come armed with similar firepower to their aerial counterparts but in videos of late it seems almost certain flyers get taken out by end of Turn 1 or 2 at the latest.
Do regular players feel this is a common theme for 8th edition or if having to go second?
Yeah I think you are right. The bit that really hurts flyers at the moment is that you have to have them set up on the table during deployment!:)
And how it's just been proven again with the latest battle report on YouTube. Iyanden taking out the Blood Angels flyer on turn one.
This has to spell the beginning of the end of the flyer as transport for sure.
Yeah a struggle for flyers at the moment. Dark Eldar have a stratagem though that lets them keep flyers off board I think:)
