Painting Alpharius, need help with a color

Hey everyone! I have a quick question. I am currently painting up heresy era Alpha Legion and I got Alpharius Omegon. I have every color I need except the green color on his weapon and chains and stuff, and I have no clue how that color is achieved. Anyone have any advice (I have citadel paints)

I know one of the final colours I would be using would be the Moot Green:) Other than that I'm not sure. Great colour scheme though:)

Thanks for the tip, moot green added to the list! That base color is hard to discern for sure. Not sure if i should base it in caliban green or waaagh flesh, or even something else idk lol.

Even Warboss Green may be an idea. For a one off mini I would paint a small section of the green to the final finish and see how it comes out...then apply to rest of the mini!:)

I was looking at warboss green too. Its such a confusing color to me. Im gonna mess around on some of my other Alpha Legionaries and see what works. Im not brave enough to experiment on the primarch himself haha. Cheers Luke. Hydra Dominatus lol

I am confident enough in my abilities to paint the primarch but jeez it's so scary haha. I've got like 90 legion models to paint, probably gonna do Alpharius (or is it Omegon?) last.

Yeah it is scary. Another tip...I usually paint the base first and get all that work done. Then one part of the model is finished and whilst you have been working on the base your brain has had time to scan the model and figure out how to go about painting it. I really find this works:)

I really like that idea thanks. The primarchs have such big bases it will give me plenty of time. Im going to pick up some warboss green and experiment on some useless stuff this weekend and hopefully I can nail it.
