Currently putting together my first army. It'll be 2K of Death Guard. Here is my proposed list, taking into account the beta rules. Would love to hear your thoughts. I will say however, that I don't wish to include Mortarion or Typhus, as I like the idea of creating my own unique faction without already existing lore characters.

TATICA:
So i'm painting my army in a deep sea bluey green scheme with lots of rust, and naming them The Drowned Plague. This theming in mind, I like the idea of an army that grinds forward as a whole, washing over the enemy like an advancing tide.
The main core of the army would consist of the daemon prince, tallyman, noxious blightbringer OR Foul Blightspawn, cultists, poxwalkers and the blight-haulers. The cultists would provide a screen, the poxwalkers behind them can use the "The Dead Walk Again" stratagem so when the cultists are slain, they can be added to the unit of poxwalkers. The blight-haulers would provide cover bonus with "Putrescent Fog' and firm fire power without suffering penalties for moving and firing heavy weapons because of "Tri-tracked". The daemon prince would provide re-rolls of hit rolls of 1. The tallyman provides rerolls for failed hit rolls in the fight phase and also a command point recovering ability. The noxious blight-bringer's "tocsin of misery" ability ensures the tide advances as fast as possible.
The 7 plague marines provide a strong and resilient tactical team for capture objectives and also some supporting fire power.
The foetid bloat-drones, can be sent kamikaze style straight into the enemy, providing an un-ignorable distraction, hosing down infantry and silencing heavy support, before using the "Putrid Explosion" stratagem to ensure maximum damage. Also great for capturing objectives quickly if need be.
The Defiler can play aggressively, advancing quickly and directly whilst providing strong supporting fire power before tearing through the enemy lines with it's mean combat abilities.
I'd use the Noxious Blightbringer when playing against defensive armies to advance as quick as possible. And use the Foul Blightspawn when playing against aggressive armies to provide some protection from charging units.
One Pysker will play aggressively with attacking powers. the other will play defensively toughening up friendly units with beneficial powers.
The Deathshroud will infiltrate enemy lines. Their combat abilities can bring down the strongest of characters and toughest of tanks.
