Hey All,
Finally got back into painting after a 5-year absents. I'm really happy with the end result (StrikingScopion, your tutorials a big help!), but the one thing I can't decide is whether or not to add grass to the base scheme or not? And if yes then what colour/type?

Fantastically detailed work there! Somewhat prosaic colour scheme though. With you talent, imagine an Arctic or even hell world colour scheme! Don't be another sequel - express yourself!
Great paint job love the base as they are. The skull to me shows a dead and barren world so I would leave the grass off
I would perhaps do tufts over flock/grass, perhaps some barren ones on a few different models. I'd then go with something like "wasteland tufts" from armypainter. I think it adds another layer of depth to bases and models so I think if it works it's well worth the time and effort.
