Edit: Just to add, I am concerned about my early (and late) turn long range firepower (keep thinking about adding a third (nicely T8) Hunter with HKM and Storm Bolter instead of the Whirlwind for the loss of the Priest's Hand flamer), but the list is built around dealing with pretty much everything in combat so it can't do everything! :)

Your dice test was similar to my own. I think for an everything (especially vehicles/super heavies) killer Slamguinius needs the Artisan of War trait and be Warlord along with the Angels Wing. However Gift of Foresight still is good if you think he is going to get stuck in prolonged combats or smite'd all the time, just takes him a bit longer to kill big stuff! But that's where the other units come in to support...
Being Death Company having a Chaplain/Lemartes near by would maybe help depending on interpretation, but because the way the rules are written don't 2s always miss because of the way modifiers work unfortunately?! :(
If he didn't have the Angels Wing, being Death Company and near Lemartes would allow him to re-roll his charges anyway...v useful...so maybe if I kept the Priest the Warlord, maybe Hammer of Baal over the Angels Wing would be an interesting/efficient load out (need to do the maths-hammer on this) and I'd squirrel him away behind the Death Company unit for protection. However I think the no overwatch ability of the Angels Wing is just too good to pass up in any situation. The protection it gives follow up units like the Death Company and/or Sanguinary Guard is so good rather than having them getting shot to bits before they even get to combat!

Edit: One of your Youtube subscribers on the painted Slamguinius video commented about the viability of using the Legendary Fighter trait from the Rulebook along with the Hammer of Baal relic...I'd never thought of that one...the maths seem favourable...this could be another option you could try out!

Leaving the Priest as the Warlord for your review should open a good debate for the list and will decide whether or not I should switch back to Slamguinius being the warlord with either Artisan of War or Gift of Foresight...

Slamguinius' name in this list will be 10th Company Captain 'Dionysus' Borgio a true inspiration for all the new recruits.
The Lieutenant is the 10th company 's first Lieutenant known as the 'Warden of the Blood' (from the codex), ready to assume command now that Borgio is having 'Death Visions of Sanguinius'...he, the Ancient, and the Priest will all need names eventually.
